Tips For Using Speaker Brackets

February 16th, 2010 oneway No comments

During the summer months, many individuals relish entertaining outdoors much more than in. This could include parties and barbeques, and with these events comes the need for music. By installing some out of doors speakers and speaker brackets round the yard, this can turn a simple party in to an event that all attendees can remember.

By mounting speaker brackets around the room, the result will be that of being right there in the midst of the action, no matter what’s being watched. Sporting events can seem much more vivid and action movies can be that much more intense. By using these to make a blanket of sound, the experience will be one that is enjoyed over and over.

Speaker brackets themselves are fairly basic. They are a frame that holds the speakers while mounted on the wall. The differences lie in the load rating of each completely different style as this is whether or not they will support the actual sized speakers in question and could be a determining factor in choosing the right ones.

By using the Internet, many completely different sizes and styles of these brackets may be found. These can be purchased with speakers for this specific use or by themselves if a collection of speakers is already owned. Not only can these be bought in sets, but are on the market for individual sale as well and can be purchased to match completely different stereo designs because they’re obtainable in several completely different colors.

Finding the proper brackets for your house is as simple as going on-line and browsing around. Be positive that the brackets in question can support the load of your existing speakers once they’re mounted. Each manufacturer will have a load and size rating in the descriptions on their websites together with complete directions on a way to properly mount them.

Light up your game room

August 29th, 2009 oneway No comments

If you’re the type to have a room in your house dedicated to gaming and sporting events that room is probably a very popular one. You want it to be inviting, fun, entertaining and make your guests feel very comfortable. You want to be the “hot spot” during the Super Bowl or College Bowl season, and you want everyone to rave about how great it looks and how much fun they have when they party at your house.

If your game room has gotten to feel rather drab lately, perhaps it’s time for a lighting makeover. You’d be amazed at what changing a few simple light fixtures will do for a room. They tend to change the way light falls, changing which areas are featured and highlighted and give a variety of options depending on which fixtures you buy.

Consider the gaming table area. If the table is large enough you’ll need adequate lighting above in order to see what’s happening on the table below. Pool table lighting choices are an excellent option and they not only give great light they also add a great spark of decor. Your light could feature a favorite beverage or sporting event.

Perhaps you have a great collection of sports memorabilia in that game room. Don’t let it sit getting dusty with no attention. Feature it with great flexible track lighting. Track lights can be angled and positioned to feature several different key collectibles in different areas. With one strip of lights you can point them to all 4 corners of the room or to several different areas in a corner display.
